This position requires a candidate with broad technical and professional business skills. The scope of this position involves working with Palamida clients and partners to conduct IP Audits by using Palamida tools to identify third-party content in customer's code, determining its origin, and presenting the results to business owners, legal experts and technical resources.

This position requires a detail-oriented, trustworthy and hard-working individual, with excellent oral and written communication skills. Candidates must possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. Past experience with customer-facing interactions is a must.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct IP Audits by using Palamida tools to identify third-party content in customer's code and determine its origin
  • Communicate IP Audit results directly to business owners, legal experts and technical resources
  • Independently lead and/or manage delivery engagements
  • Participate in pre-sales activities to demonstrate Palamida capabilities and scope service engagements
  • Contribute to the improvement and enhancement of Palamida consulting best practices
  • Proactively work with Marketing and Engineering on product innovation including conveying feedback from customers
  • Demonstrate leadership in the area of Open Source IP by actively participating in forums and conferences
Qualifications
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with attention to detail
  • Past experience with customer-facing interactions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Awareness of software development technologies (hands-on experience a plus)
  • Familiarity with Open Source licenses, projects and repositories (e.g. SourceForge, Apache, Eclipse, Open Source Initiative)
  • Ability to work independently in a growing startup in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive and positive attitude
  • Occasional travel may be necessary
