GPL3
There has been an increasing amount of interest and discussion regarding the next version of the GPL, so this story caught my attention today. One of the main thoughts regarding the next version of the GPL has been to address the situation in which commercial web sites use GPL code in the delivery of their commercial services. Today they do this without the requirement to make their code GPL and therefore available in source form. This article gives a bit more insight on the direction the Free Software Foundation may take as they develop the 3.0 version of the GPL. Pretty interesting and worth reading.
